新款蘋果電腦上網本預計也會在10月中的發佈會首度現身，蘋果電腦CEO喬布斯接受肝臟移植手術之後，也宣佈復出繼續為蘋果操盤，上網本有機會成為其復出後給市場的大禮。 由於蘋果電腦對上網本的規劃有其獨到之處，過去也傳出數次更改設計的消息，因此上市時間屢有更動，不過今年部份供應商指出，蘋果上網本的計劃並無變更，預計9月、10月就會開始正式出貨。 據瞭解，與現在主流上網本主打10.1吋或10.2吋不同，蘋果將另辟規格，採用與亞馬遜書店熱門電子書Kindle相當的9.7吋屏幕，並導入觸控功能，台灣觸控面板廠勝華將成為主要供應商。 另外，外資法人指出，雖然鴻海在主流MacBook部分訂單被廣達搶回。不過由於蘋果上網本設計類似iPhone等產品，之前也與鴻海一同開發，預計還是可望成為蘋果電腦上網本代工廠。 由於採用觸控功能等設計，市場預計蘋果上網本不走低價路線，避開與宏碁、華碩廝殺最激烈的500美元以下市場，價格可能會在800美元左右，這價位帶主要對手則是新力電腦P系列的上網本產品。 |
